Set Design

Set design for Zara Larsson’s live stream concert, in occasion of International Women’s Day. Event and concept design were powered by Ikea.

The design is developed around a large empty stage. Four rooms of different features face a wide, empty central area.

About 1000 Ikea’s products were used as scenography props, adapting to unconventional uses, hanging on the walls, providing perspective depth with their iconic silhouettes.

A central corridor, made of 200 Ikea’s Lack tables, connects the different parts of the show space. An archetypal podium sits across them, dominating the space and hosting the concert finale.

The Lack table, in particular, served as construction module in several occasions along with the 55x55cm grid that generates from its simple presence in the space.
